I snapped. I slapped him across the face, throwing him into a tree. That seemed like a girly thing to do now, but it doesn't matter. I was running back to Jake.

There he was. Crumpled on the floor. "Jake!" I flew to his said, kneeling next to him. "No! no no nono! You can't die....I choose you, I love YOU! You don't get to die on me now!" He looked into my eyes.

"Nessie, do me a favor," he moaned in pain. His voice was so quiet I could barely hear him. "Shut up and kiss me." And I did. Long and passionate unlike any other kiss he gave. And like that my memories were back. Former thoughts I had about liking Drake dissipated. All I knew was Jake and his lips on mine. I knew what all those feelings for Drake were. He didn't charm people, he controlled them. And that's when it clicked. The moment I kissed Jake, I knew Drake was the son of the vampire who's been stalking me. It was like Jake cleared the damage done by Drake.

"Hello love." Drake. His father standing behind him.

I was about to go at him when Jake grabbed my hand. The plea in his eyes said "don't."

"Do you know how long it took to find you?" He sounded strange. So unlike how he sounds.

"I've been around since before the Vulturi and NEVER have I found a creature like you." Before the Vulturi? But they were direct descendants from....Oh my God.

"You're father is Dracula?" I blurted.

He laughed in my face. "Dracula?! I don't know where they got off calling me 'the dragon,' but my real name is Vlad. I took the name Drake for humor purposes. And that pathetic thing over there is my son. He never stopped aging because the amount of power he held drained him of his immortal soul. He ages very slowly, but does age."

I stared at him, and as I did he changed. He became more mature and much, much larger than he was. "Sorry, Drake. I'm not looking to be another bride of Dracula."

"A charming suggestion, but no. I merely wish to harvest your powers for my own. They are the only ones I don't seem to have..."

Suddenly, there was nothing. all I saw was darkness.
